MEDILINQ and The Daily Chorus have teamed up for a first in the music industry: a
program that offers health benefits to bands and their crew (up to 15 members). This
program offers discounts on hospital visits, medical procedures, prescription drugs and
many different forms of alternative medicine.
I’ve toured the full U.S. and Canada countless times in the last few years. I did that
without any medical coverage. I was struck with a serious illness, during tour, and
racked up over $35,000 in medical costs. If I had MEDILINQ, I could’ve saved myself
at least $10,000.
I am glad a company has finally come up with a health plan that specifically targets
bands. Just the discount on prescription drugs, alone, is well worth it.

monthly membership fee gives you access to low rates – often what insurance companies pay – for doctors, medications and alternative care. |

You’ll need to pick one member – most bands choose their business manager – to be the ‘subscriber’. Everyone else will be listed as a ‘dependent’ on the card. Every month,
when you pay the membership fee, MEDILINQ will confirm that all of the ‘dependents’
are still with the band. |

MyMedLab offers medical testing at a rate of 50-80% less than any other provider.
HealthGrades offers independent healthcare ratings and profiles of hospitals and
physicians to help you make a better decision on your health care. |

You will need to put funds – about $100, to start – on deposit. These funds will be used to pay any medical bills you incur. Your money is held in trust – only the band can authorize its use. You can withdraw your money at any time, with no penalties or fees. |
